Sino-Lanka Archaeological Project was an international joint archaeological project conducted in collaboration of the Central Cultural Fund and the Shanghai Museum, China, in August-September 2018. The MOU was signed between the two institutions in September 2018. The scientific research work including excavations and surveying was held in Kytes, Delfts and Jaffna. The research team was formed by Chinese scholars from the Shangai Museum and Sri Lankan scholars representing the Central Cultural Fund and the University of Jaffna.
