On November 4th, 2024, officials from the U.S. Embassy met with the Director General of the Central Cultural Fund, Dr. Nilan Cooray, at the CCF Head Office in Colombo to discuss the progress of the Godawaya project, supported by the U.S. Ambassadors Fund.

The Godawaya project team shared updates on the ongoing work. Key highlights included plans for the upcoming fieldwork session starting this November and an exciting exhibition in Colombo next year!
