Central Cultural Fund signed a MOU with People’s Bank to establish an e-ticketing solution
In the aim of modernizing and improving the services provided for the tourists visiting cultural sites, with the emerging technologies and trends around the world, the Central Cultural Fund took steps to implement a new platform for the e-ticketing system. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the 16th of September, 2022 at the Head Office of the People’s Bank in-between the Central Cultural Fund and the People’s Bank to establish the new e-ticketing solution.
Hon. Vidura Wickramanayaka – Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious & Cultural Affairs and Mr. Sujeewa Rajapakse – Chairman of People’s Bank presided over the event, Mr. Somarathna Vidanapathirana – Secretary to the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious & Cultural Affairs, Prof. Anura Manathunga – Director General of Archeology, Prof. Gamini Ranasinghe – Director General of Central Cultural Fund, and other governing body officials of the People’s Bank and the Central Cultural Fund and were participated in this ceremony.
